QHSE Manager – Multi-Service Facilities Group

Location: Head Office (Birmingham Business Park)
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 D.O.E + £4,800 Car Allowance or Company Car
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
 
Are you a strategic and hands-on QHSE professional ready to take ownership of compliance and safety across a diverse, fast-paced group of businesses? Our client, a leading national facilities group, is seeking a QHSE Manager to lead quality, health, safety, and environmental standards across multiple service lines.

  • Diamond Facilities Support – Buildings & FM
  • Jet Through – Drainage & Plumbing
  • Nationwide Roofing Repairs – Roofing Services
  • Nationwide Property Clean – Cleaning & Grounds Maintenance

With over 150 employees across field and office roles, this is a high-impact role requiring both strategic oversight and operational agility.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE policies and systems (e.g. ISO 9001).
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, company standards, and industry best practices.
  • Lead risk identification and mitigation, maintaining a contract risk register.
  • Conduct audits, analyze performance data, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Investigate incidents thoroughly and implement corrective actions.
  • Deliver engaging training to promote a proactive safety culture.
  • Act as the main point of contact for QHSE matters with clients, auditors, and internal teams.
  • Develop crisis and business continuity plans to ensure operational resilience.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in QHSE management across multi-site or multi-service environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of H&S and environmental legislation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive improvements.
  • Proficient in MS Office and QHSE reporting tools.
  • Ability to apply both regulation and common sense in a reactive, fast-paced setting.
