Commercial Gas & HVAC Engineer
Location: Berkshire & South East (Field Based)
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 DOE
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
The Opportunity
Club Connective is recruiting on behalf of a well-established facilities management and building services organisation that delivers maintenance solutions to commercial clients across the UK.
Due to continued growth and business requirements, our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas, HVAC & Oil Engineer to join their South Region team.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance services across a portfolio of commercial buildings throughout Berkshire and the surrounding areas.
You will work across a variety of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and oil-fired systems, ensuring equipment remains compliant, operational and safe.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair commercial gas systems.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.
- Diagnose and rectify faults on HVAC and air conditioning equipment.
- Service and maintain oil-fired heating systems.
- Attend reactive maintenance call-outs.
- Complete detailed service reports and compliance documentation.
- Ensure all work complies with industry regulations and health & safety standards.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships on site.
- Participate in an on-call rota where required.
Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Commercial Gas qualifications (CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1A or equivalent).
- Proven experience working within commercial gas maintenance.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
Desirable
- F-Gas Certification.
- Air Conditioning experience.
- OFTEC qualifications.
- Facilities Management background.
- Basic electrical fault-finding knowledge.
- Experience using digital job management systems.
