Location: Ellesmere Port, CH65 7EP
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 3:15PM – 5:45PM (Wednesday’s 2:45 – 4:15PM)
Days: Monday to Friday (11.5 hours per week)
Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent
 
  
About the Role
We are currently recruiting a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to support one of our client’s school sites.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will play an important role in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
  
Please note: An enhanced DBS check will be required for this position.
 
  
Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas
• Clean washrooms and replenish hygiene supplies
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Empty waste bins and dispose of waste appropriately
• Clean touchpoints including door handles, desks, and handrails
• Replenish cleaning products and consumables as required
• Follow all health & safety procedures and school safeguarding requirements
• Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or concerns to the site management team

What We’re Looking For

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
• Good communication skills
• A positive and professional attitude
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
