Automatic & Industrial Door Engineer

 
£17.50-£20.00 per hour + Overtime | 42.5 hours per week | Immediate Starts Available
 
We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading UK specialist in automatic and industrial door systems. Due to ongoing growth, they are expanding their engineering team across the South East, South West, South Wales and the Midlands – with nationwide applications also welcome.
2‑man teams are also encouraged to apply.
Role Overview As a Door Engineer, you will carry out installation, service, repair, upgrades and fault‑finding work on a wide range of equipment, including:

• Automatic doors
• Roller shutters
• Sectional doors
• Automatic gates & barriers
• High‑speed doors
• Other industrial door systems

This is a field‑based role, supporting customers across your region.
What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years’ experience in the automatic/industrial door industry
• Strong multi‑discipline experience: installation, service, repair & diagnostics
• ADIA or ADSA BS EN 16005 certification
• CSCS & IPAF cards
• Additional competencies beneficial (not essential):
  • DHF
  • Working at Height
  • Asbestos Awareness
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Immediate availability preferred
