Location: West Midlands (Mobile)
Hours: 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

The Job Role
As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks across residential and commercial settings. Your daily duties will include:
- Measuring and cutting wood to fit specific job requirements
- Building wooden frameworks for construction projects
- Installing doors, door frames, and trim to ensure secure and precise fitting
- Supervising and coordinating maintenance staff as required
- Providing excellent customer service by addressing client concerns effectively
- Maintaining accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory
- Interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to complete tasks efficiently
- Conducting routine inspections to identify and resolve potential issues
- Carrying out general maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing, and minor electrical work
Essential Requirements
- Full clean driving licence (manual)
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience using various tools and equipment
- Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and installing doors and frames
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients and team members
- Leadership skills to supervise and coordinate other maintenance staff
- Professionalism and commitment to high-quality service delivery
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and interpret schematics when required
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions
Desirable Experience (Non-Mandatory)
- Experience fitting fire doors
