Location: Medical Unit, Stockton-on-Tees, Billingham, TS23 3TA
Hours: 2 hours per day, every evening (Monday – Sunday) – Flexible working hours between 6PM and 10PM
Rate of Pay: £11.50 per hour
About the Role
We are recruiting an evening Cleaner to work at a medical unit, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise patient rooms, waiting areas, and common spaces
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces including countertops, door handles, and medical equipment
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty waste bins and dispose of medical waste safely
- Replenish supplies including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Follow health and safety regulations and infection control procedures
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience preferred (especially in medical or healthcare settings)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Good communication skills and reliability
- Punctual and trustworthy
