Evening Cleaner
 
Location: Medical Unit, Morrisons – Smithfields Livestock Market, Shrewsbury Rd, Oswestry SY11 4QA
Hours: 2 hours per day, every evening (Monday – Sunday) – Flexible working hours between 6PM and 12AM (Midnight)
Dates: 04/04/25 – 15/04/25
Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour
 
About the Role
We are recruiting an Evening Cleaner to work at a medical unit, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, waiting areas, and common spaces
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces including countertops, door handles, and medical equipment
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Empty waste bins and dispose of medical waste safely
• Replenish supplies including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Follow health and safety regulations and infection control procedures
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor

Requirements
 

• Previous cleaning experience preferred (especially in medical or healthcare settings)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Good communication skills and reliability
• Punctual and trustworthy
