Credit Controller (Part‑Time)
Location: Tamworth (B79)
Hours & Salary:
£28,000 – £30,000 FTE (Pro‑Rata: £17,500 – £22,500 depending on hours)
- 25–30 hours per week, across 4–5 days (Fridays required)

- Salary is pro‑rata based on £28,000–£30,000 FTE
- Approx. £17,500 – £18,750 (25 hours)
- Approx. £21,000 – £22,500 (30 hours)
We are working with a well‑established business based in Tamworth who are seeking a proactive and detail‑driven Part‑Time Credit Controller to support their finance operations. This role offers flexibility across 4–5 days per week (minimum 25 hours), with Fridays essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone experienced in credit control who enjoys a varied workload and can confidently manage customer accounts, reconciliations, and month‑end processes.
Key Responsibilities Daily / Ad Hoc Duties:
- Post-close reconciliation of bank payments
- Raise invoices once orders are confirmed by the admin team
- Import invoices into SAGE from ProfIT
- Upload OSMO to the client’s portal
- Draw down available cash and update availability
- Chase overdue debt and confirm outstanding balances
- Update expired credit limits using Creditsafe / Atradius
- Convert held sales orders in ProfIT
- Request remittance advice for unallocated payments
- Save and file customer remittances
- Activate new customer accounts
- Obtain credit limits for new/prospective customers
- Manage invoice queries, liaising with Admin/Sales/Quality teams and customers
Month-End Duties:
- ProfIT-to-SAGE invoice reconciliation
- Full bank reconciliations for GBP, EUR and USD accounts
- Provide a full list of raised credit notes
- Send updated Atradius credit limit listings
- Complete Belgium Intrastat submissions
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or similar
- Strong working knowledge of SAGE
- Familiarity with credit checking systems (Creditsafe/Atradius)
- Excellent communication and customer‑handling skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
