Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Birmingham (Hybrid / Regional Travel)
Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 base (DOE) + Car Allowance / Company Car
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

About The Role

The Role We’re seeking a driven and commercially astute Business Development Manager to spearhead our FM sales growth across the UK. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll play a key role in identifying, bidding for, and winning new contracts in both the private and public sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the FM market
- Lead the end-to-end bid process (RFI, SQ, ITT) with support from internal teams
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Present tailored service proposals and solutions
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth strategy
- Attend client meetings, industry events, and networking forums
Requirements
- Proven experience in a BDM or sales role within the FM industry (minimum 3–5 years)
- Solid understanding of hard and/or soft FM services
- Strong bid/tendering knowledge (especially in public sector advantageous)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Full UK driving licence
Package & Benefits
- Base Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 (dependent on experience)
- Bonus/Commission: £25,000 realistic OTE (uncapped scheme)
- Vehicle: Car allowance OR company vehicle
- Pension: 3% employer contribution
- Holiday: 21 days + bank holidays
