Shirley, Solihull (B90) £14.00 per hour | Guaranteed Hours | Paid Mileage | Temp to Perm Opportunity

Are you an experienced Care Assistant looking for regular, guaranteed hours and the opportunity to make a real difference to someone’s life?

We are recruiting compassionate, reliable and professional Care Assistants to support a lovely elderly lady in her own home in Shirley, Solihull. This is a rewarding one-to-one care role where you will become part of a small, consistent care team, helping our client maintain her independence, dignity and quality of life.

This position offers the stability of regular scheduled hours, paid mileage and the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

Available Shifts

Morning Visits

  • Monday to Sunday: 9:00am – 10:00am

Afternoon Visits

  • Monday: 1:30pm – 4:30pm
  • Tuesday: 1:30pm – 4:30pm
  • Friday: 1:00pm – 3:00pm
  • Saturday: 1:00pm – 3:00pm

Evening Visit

  • Sunday: 6:00pm – 7:00pm

Additional hours may become available for the right candidate.

Main Duties

  • Providing personal care with dignity and respect
  • Assisting with daily living activities and mobility
  • Supporting with meals and hydration
  • Carrying out light household duties
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any concerns

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous care experience is essential
  • Healthcare qualification preferred
  • Compassionate, patient and reliable nature
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check
