Salary: £55,000 (negotiable) + Car Allowance + Overnight Allowances
Location: North West England / UK-Wide Travel Required

About the Role

 
Club Connective are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing and ambitious Building Services contractor for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong mechanical building services experience to join a business delivering projects across the Commercial, Healthcare, Education and Public Sector environments throughout the UK.
 
As Mechanical Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of mechanical installation works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day mechanical installation activities on site
• Supervise directly employed engineers, subcontractors and specialist trades
• Plan and coordinate daily and weekly site activities
• Ensure sufficient labour, plant and materials are available
• Coordinate mechanical works alongside principal contractors and other trades
• Attend client, coordination and progress meetings
• Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks
• Implement and monitor RAMS and Permit to Work procedures
• Carry out regular Health & Safety inspections
• Monitor installation quality and manage snagging activities
• Track progress against programme and identify potential delays
• Complete site diaries, reports and project documentation
• Support commissioning activities and final handover processes

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager within Building Services or M&E
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, LTHW and Plumbing systems
• Experience managing direct labour and subcontractors
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Sound understanding of Health & Safety legislation
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Flexibility to travel throughout the UK and stay away when required

• SMSTS
• CSCS Gold Card
• First Aid at Work
• IOSH Managing Safely
• Mechanical Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3
• HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
• Experience delivering projects within Healthcare, Education, Commercial or Public Sector environments
