The Role As a Plumbing & Drainage Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering reactive repairs, planned maintenance, drainage investigations, and plumbing works across commercial and domestic properties.
Your duties will include:

  • Drain clearance using van-mounted high-pressure water jetting equipment
  • Drain descaling and root cutting
  • Carrying out CCTV drainage surveys
  • Performing localised structural drain repairs
  • Patch lining and minor excavation works
  • Diagnosing and resolving drainage faults
  • Undertaking general plumbing repairs and maintenance
  • Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) works
  • Providing exceptional customer service on every visit
  • Accurately completing job reports and documentation
  • Participating in the out-of-hours call-out rota
  • Occasional travel and overnight stays where required

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within plumbing and drainage
  • Recognised Plumbing Qualification
  • High Pressure Water Jetting Association (WJA) Ticket
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate/Number
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Experience using van-mounted jetting equipment
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Physically capable of carrying out drainage and excavation works
  • Strong customer service and communication skills

Desirable Experience & Qualifications

  • City & Guilds Plumbing Qualification
  • CCTV Survey experience
  • Confined Space Training
  • Experience with localised structural drain repairs
  • Patch lining and rehabilitation works
  • Minor excavation and reinstatement experience
